Silver Creek Lanes occasionally needs part time  help with these positions for our high energy team environment. 

Hours vary including day, evening & weekend shifts.

Front Desk:

Our ideal candidate needs to bring enthusiasm, energy, and talent ensuring the best guest experience.

 

Job Duties:

  • The ability to multitask and have effective communication skills -- both written and verbal

  • Must have basic math, computer skills, great organizational and administrative skills.

  • Experience with basic Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel or social media marketing.

  • Create happy birthday parties, sports team’s celebrations and more

  • Know basic bowling league rules, procedures and guidelines of the sport.

  • Be aware of surroundings and keep center clean.

  • Variable Cooking, Bartending, and inventory control.

  • Be dependable and flexible with the changing needs of the establishment.

  • This position is not limited to those duties listed in the job description. Duties and responsibilities can be changed, expanded, reduced or deleted to meet business needs of the company.

 

Interviews will be scheduled and based on relevant experience. Bowling Machine Mechanic:

Our ideal candidate is mechanically inclined with knowledge of the sport of bowling.

Job Duties:

  • Repair and maintain all bowling center equipment including automatic pinsetters, lane and scoring equipment.

  • Maintain (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually) preventive maintenance schedules, cleaning and /or minor repairs.

  • Abide by and maintain safety procedures and operation procedures.

  • Ensure that shop and machine areas are clean and organized at all times.

  • Quickly and safely correct pin jams, ball return calls, and other malfunctions while bowling is in progress.

  • Maintain and keep up to date the mechanic log.

  • Must have the ability to read, analyze, and understand common technical manuals.

  • Effectively communicate to center management.

  • Takes ownership of Mechanical breakdowns and has a plan of action to fix in a timely manner

  • Apply principles of logical thinking to a wide range of practical problems.

  • Must have ability to work varying shifts may include working weekends and holidays, as well as extended workdays to support the business needs.

  • Must be over 21 due to other duties may be assigned in the bar area. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Wage amount is negotiable based on certifications and experience if applicant has previously worked in the bowling industry.
